Real Photo Technology
Real Photo Technology captures treasured moments just as your eye sees them. Combining Fujifilm’s new RP Processor, 5th Generation Super CCD HR sensor and Fujinon Lens Optics, the S5200 delivers ultra-high sensitivity (ISO 1600), faster operational speeds (start-up in 1.1 seconds; shutter lag at a mere 0.01 second) and reduced power consumption. These features, used in conjunction with the camera’s “Natural Light” and “Anti-Blur” modes, help photographers capture more of the pictures they want - even in low-light situations - with every nuance of light and color.
Fujinon Lens Technology & Zooming
The superb optics of the Fujinon lens collects light and precisely forms the image in conjunction with a 5th Generation Super CCD HR. Users can bring the subject closer to them using the camera’s 10.0x Optical Zoom (equivalent to a 38-380mm on a 35mm camera). In Macro mode, the FinePix S5200 can focus clearly at 3.9 inches. With the addition of beam assist, the FinePix S5200 can focus up to 7.9 feet — even in low light conditions.

Photo Imaging Excellence
The MAXXUM 7D is a marvel of modern technology that draws on more than a century of Konica Minolta expertise in advanced optics, photo processing, digital mini labs, light measuring, electronics, and precision measurement systems. Each element plays an important role in capturing and rendering the high resolution images that turn a split-second in time into a lasting photographic memory. It is Konica Minolta’s high level of technology integration that makes the MAXXUM 7D such a pleasure to use, and the images it produces such a joy to behold. From the camera’s 6.1-megapixel CCD to its advanced processing and optimization controls, the elements work together to assure truly breathtaking image quality.
Large, 6.1-megapixel CCD delivers amazing image detail
A 6.1-megapixel (effective) CCD gathers the high resolution image data you need to produce professional-quality prints that are rich in fine detail. Equipped with a proprietary Konica Minolta optical low pass filter for optimum color and tonal balance, it offers low noise and a wide dynamic range for improved highlight and shadow detail. Designed to maximize the clarity and sharpness of MAXXUM lenses
The MAXXUM 7D is engineered to take full advantage of the advanced optical technologies incorporated into MAXXUM lenses. Aspherical optics, for example, reduce the spherical aberration that can degrade resolving power, particularly on large diameter lenses. Aspherical elements also allow lenses to be made lighter and more compact, and provide excellent contrast even at the largest aperture setting. AD (Anomalous Dispersion) glass also helps improve contrast, and is particularly effective in reducing the chromatic aberration that can occur with high-power telephoto and zoom lenses. Konica Minolta was also the first camera manufacturer to feature multi-coating on its lenses, and today this technology is used to reduce ghosting and flaring on a wide range of MAXXUM lenses.

Fujifilm’s New Nine Megapixel Finepix S9000 Digital Camera
Fujifilm has added another “first” to its imaging legacy with today’s introduction of the SLR-styled FinePix S9000 digital camera, the world’s first nine MegaPixel model for advanced amateur photographers. Advanced digital photographers have been eagerly awaiting this addition to Fujifilm’s popular S-series line. The FinePix S9000 digital camera boasts 9.0 effective MegaPixels that capture up to 3,488 x 2,616 recorded pixels (9.12 million) - the highest resolution of any consumer camera on the market.
Advanced Performance at its Best
While these record-breaking numbers are impressive alone, Fujifilm understands there is more to a great digital picture than resolution. It is this understanding, along with its rich history of photographic excellence, which drove Fujifilm to incorporate its groundbreaking Real Photo Technology into the FinePix S9000. The company’s latest innovation matches the nine MegaPixel, 5th Generation Super CCD HR sensor, with a super-sharp Fujinon lens and the RP Processor technology found currently in the critically-acclaimed FinePix F10 digital camera.
A hallmark of Fujifilm’s Real Photo Technology is its ability to reduce the amount of graininess or “noise” in digital pictures. This noise is often apparent in high-resolution photos, particularly those shot at high ISO-equivalent sensitivities. With Real Photo Technology, the FinePix S9000 can take pictures at ISO 1600 — at full resolution. Other benefits of Real Photo Technology include speed of operation (the FinePix S9000 has a high-speed start-up time of only 0.8 second with shutter lag down to 1/100 second) and longer battery life.
